Every few years, the engineers toiling to supply energy to the world achieve advances that qualify as game changers. But often, the breakthroughs go unnoticed.

That may be because energy companies hate to broadcast details of their cutting-edge technology to rival firms. Or the key improvements may be too subtle to impress outsiders.

It is only years later that their profound impact on energy supplies and patterns of use become clear.

Hey all For all you interior designers in the Gauteng region, if you happen to read the article on Paris Spa July/August, and like the feature of natural Quartz stone flooring, seamless/carpet, or see it and you like it. I would appreciate if anyone could let me know what the exact legislation is pertaining to specifically dry wall partitioning layouts being submitted to local council for approval. I do realise that extensive changes does affect a lot of the building regulations and obviously Fire protection plans, Health & safety etc. Some large corporate companies doing regular internal revamps are still unaware of the situation or they deem it irrelevant as it still seems a very grey area. Is there a "cut off" point as such that will determine whether you will have to submit plans to council for approval or not?
