Simbithi Eco-Estate is a 430 hectare development between Ballito and Salt Rock, the first estate of its kind in the area. The estate has been design to minimise environmental impact and special care has been taken to strategically locate each site to allow for free movement of wildlife. Alien vegetation around the site has been removed and environmental consultants are on hand to strictly monitor all development.
The architecture of Simbithi Eco-Estate emphasizes pared-down, simple forms that are true to form and function. The variety of site conditions means that it is an evolving architecture that encourages the creative process, rather than imposing an inappropriate "style".
