Sustainable Design In Residential Dwellings

The Waverley Residence is a family home in Sidney built using the principles of sustainable design. Its creators, Anderson Architecture, have used innovative technologies, such as solar hydronic floor heating, in addition to eco-friendly materials in order to plan a thermally efficient house. The result has been a model of sustainable residential dwelling, built using both passive and active design theory. The house was a finalist for the Building Product News Sustainability Award.
