NEW TECHNOLOGIES AND INNOVATIVE PRACTICE – THE NEXT FRONTIER IN AFFORDABLE HOUSING

We would like to take this opportunity of extending an invitation to attend the AUHF 2014 from 17-19 November hosted in Cape Town.

Inventor and CEO, Hennie Botes, has been invited to share his experience in promoting the moladi affordable alternative building technology, elaborating on the challenges and opportunities that moladi has encountered on its journey towards market acceptance and implementation.

WHAT IS THE AUHF

• The African Union for Housing Finance is a member-based association of mortgage banks, building societies, housing corporations and other organisations in the mobilisation of funds for shelter and housing on the African continent. View the AUHF overview presentation.  

SCOPE AND OBJECTIVES OF THE AUHF

The AUHF is committed to promoting Housing Finance on the African continent and is grounded on the following objectives:

• To develop the institutional capacity of its members to enable them to effectively participate in addressing housing finance challenges on the continent;
• To engage with governments through member institutions
• To position the AUHF as a key point of reference in housing finance matters on the continent
• To secure sustainable resources to meet and implement the objectives of the AUHF
• To develop partnerships with other regional and continental bodies on the African continent
