Buyers are slowly returning to the holiday home market, after a five year lull of zero demand on homes in coastal and resort towns. This shut down of holiday home purchases resulted in a 40% crash of the property market for places such as Plettenberg Bay, Hermanus and Ballito in the five years that showed no activity in the market.
