Italian energy and waste management company, TerniEnergia, announced its plans to carry out engineering, procurement, construction, operations and maintenance activities on two solar power plants that will have an installation capacity of 148.5MW. Although the agreement between TerniEnergia, the South African government and two unnamed European companies has not yet been finalized, construction on the two plants is scheduled to start this month.
