Public Works Minister, Thulas Ngxwsi, announced on Monday that he plans to investigate irregular expenditure which has been incurred by the department from 2001 to date. His probe is based on an unconvered R34.9 billion in spending which he susupects to be based on fraudulent and corrupt activities within the department.
